This painting, of silver birches catching the first snow of winter against a glorious turquoise sky, is my attempt to capture those rare bright winter days where the first fresh snow glints in the brilliant sun. The silver birches almost seem like sequinned show girls, sparkling in a chorus line. Acrylic on canvas.
